Moral Reconation Therapy
Evidence Based, Positive Behavioral Change
What is MRT?
Moral Reconation Therapy is a 12-step cognitive-behavioral program designed to help individuals improve decision-making and take positive control of their lives. It’s especially helpful for those who’ve faced legal issues or struggled with harmful behavior patterns. MRT focuses on building personal responsibility, healthier thinking, and stronger values. The ultimate goal is to support you in creating a more fulfilling, healthy, and law-abiding life—one based on choices that reflect your goals, values, and potential for growth.
- Structured Group Sessions: Participants engage in regular meetings to work through the MRT curriculum.
- Step-by-Step Process: The program involves systematic steps aimed at fostering self-reflection and personal growth.
- Focus on Moral Reasoning: By focusing on moral reasoning, MRT helps prevent relapse, strengthens resilience, supports long-term stability, and promotes sustained recovery.
Who Can Benefit From MRT?
We support individuals facing difficulty making healthy decisions, involvement in the criminal justice system, and issues related to drug and alcohol use. Whether you’re feeling stuck, dealing with harmful patterns, or navigating legal or personal consequences, we’re here to help without judgment. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can improve yourself and your relationships, plan for the future and start making meaningful changes.
